Beaches
Playa de Jardin and Playa Martiánez are the main beaches of Puerto de la Cruz located either side of the harbour and both of which have black volcanic sand - a common occurance of all the northern shore beaches. The facilities are excellent with changing rooms, restrooms, sunloungers and lifeguard. Behind Playa de Jardin, the Martianez lido entices you up to it's tropical gardens, waterfalls, sun terraces, bars and restaurants and is the perfect place to relax.
