Princeville Nightlife
The nightlife at Princeville is relaxed and tranquil but a night out in the town can be lively and entertaining. There are several excellent restaurants where sophistication is the theme - tasty tapas and cocktails at one of the hotel bars and restaurants is a popular choice.
As with the rest of Kauai, the nightlife in Princeville tends to finish relatively early - people don't come to Kauai for late partying - its more about the feeling of being on one of the most beautiful islands on the planet. As the sun sets, the best place to experience authentic Kauai nightlife in Princeville is to make camp at one of the hotel beach bars and restaurants, listen to live music, watch the moonlit waves and dine under the Pacific stars.
Princeville Beaches
The main beach at Princeville is called Hideaways (Pali Ke Kua) and is a beautiful spot for snorkeling during the calm summer months when the easterly swells are at their lowest. There is a steep trail neer the Pali Ke Kua Condos that you need to tackle to get to the beach so its not easily accessible.
Another popular beach and easy to get to is Haena Beach Park. Its a short dive from Princeville heading west - follow the road until it stops! - this is where the famous Na Pali Coast begins with its 1200m high cliffs and countless waterfalls.
