Miami Platja Guide & Review - Costa Dorada Holiday Rentals, Beach Villas & Apartments to Rent, Holiday Homes
Miami Playa (Miami Platja in Catalan) is a stunning resort on a wonderful bay on the popular Costa Dorada within Mont-roig del Camp in northern Spain.
The bars and restaurants are very Spanish serving up local dishes such as Calçotada - a dish of barbequed shallots dipped in Romesco sauce and served with grilled meats - you certainly don't find any fast food outlets here.
The bay and surrounding area boasts some beautiful sandy and shingle beaches backed up by pine -forests which are great for an afternoon stroll.

Either side of the bay, the unusual rocky reefs and cliffs have created a series of hidden coves that are ideal for getting away from the crowds and offer some fantastic snorkeling and scuba diving opportunities.
Miami Playa is also very family friendly - there is a children’s park facing the sea and in the height of the summer there are trampolines, ice creams kiosks and beach shack bars - restaurants known as chiringuitos scattered along the bay that are ideal for informal and relaxed lunches on the beach.
