Lahaina Nightlife

The nightlife in Lahaina is lively and fun and there is nothing better than experiencing one of the local Lahaina luau parties. This popular sunset feast is set on the spectacular beachfront right off Front Street where you get to sample a variety of wines that match the traditional Hawaiian and Polynesian food.

As with the rest of Maui, the nightlife in Lahaina tends to finish relatively early - people don't come to Maui for late partying - its more about the feeling of being on one of the most beautiful islands in the Pacific. As the sun sets, the best place to experience authentic Maui nightlife in Lahaina is to make camp at one of the beach bars and restaurants, listen to live music, watch the shows and dine under the stars.

Lahaina Beaches

Sitting on the sunny western coast, the coast either side of downtown Lahaina boasts miles of glorious white silky sand beaches and coves that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling during the summer months when the waves are gentle.

To the north of the town is the spectacular Napili Bay which is a popular hangout with watersports such as stand-up paddle board and picnic areas for a lunchtime BBQ.

At the southern end of Lahaina is Sharks Pit beach. One of the best places for surfing during the winter massive wave season but it also has reefs which are teeming with tropical fish so a great snorkeling spot. The only downside is there is no lifeguard.
