Blanes Travel Guide Holiday Rentals - Villas & Apartments to Rent In Blanes, Costa Brava
The old town of Blanes is a delightful and authentic old fishing village. Its the starting point of the rugged and beautiful Costa Brava and sits at the mouth of the Tordera river. To the south of La Palomera, a rocky outcrop in the middle of Blane's beach, are miles of golden sandy beaches as far as the eye can see. To the north, starting at Punta de Santa Ana, the famous rugged coast of the Costa Brava starts to emerge with its towering cliffs and hidden coves making Blanes one of Spain's top tourist destinations.
Over the years, Blanes has grown to become a vibrant and cosmopolitan tourist hub yet it still retains its charm and authenticity. Away from the glorious beaches, the nightlife is lively with cafes, bars and restaurants hugging the promenade.
