Lake Ossiach stretches 20km from the Carinthian capital of Klagenfurt in the east to Velden in the west and is the third largest lake in the province.

Velden is described as the Monte Carlo of Austria - a vibrant town with lots of bars, restaurants and casino. One of the highlights of staying on Lake Wörthersee is the amazing music and light show each Wednesday (rock & pop) and Friday (classical) held over the bay of Velden.
Reifnitz is a quiet hamlet just 2 minutes away from Maria Worth - a fascinating town famed for it's luxury spas whilst Portschach sits on a peninsula jutting out in to the lake and is one of the favourite places to stay on lLake Wörthersee.
