Welcome to our cosy holiday flat in Leukerbad, renovated in summer 2024! Our holiday flat is ideally located just 400 m from the gondola to the ski slopes on Torrent as well as the famous thermal baths and the village centre. Our holiday flat can accommodate 4 people, with a pull-out sofa bed for up to 5 people, and is ideal for families and friends. With its inviting and cosy furnishings, it ensures a pleasant stay. Room layout and furnishings Entrance hall: Entrance hallway with cloakroom. Bathroom: Refurbished in summer 2024 with modern tiles, large washbasin, glass shower screen and laundry corner. Living and dining area: An open-plan space with cosy dining area, living room with TV, board games, Duplo bricks for younger children and a pull-out sofa bed for a fifth person.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with dishwasher, filter coffee machine, coffee pod machine, hob with oven, fridge with integrated freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Sleeping area: Cosy area with a 1.80 m wide double bed, separated from the living area by a curtain. Separate room: Opposite the flat entrance door (outside the flat), with two single beds, perfect for children or friends.
Balcony: Enjoy the fresh mountain air and breathtaking views of the Alps. Single garage: Secure parking space for your car or bicycles. Separate storage room: Room on the ground floor for storing skis, ski boots and hiking boots for organisation and convenience. Other amenities Baby cot: Available on request. Play equipment: Various indoor and outdoor play equipment.
Garage: Table tennis table and dartboard (with magnet also suitable for children). Laundry room: Coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer available. Free Wi-Fi: High-speed internet included. Other sports and leisure activities: In winter, Leukerbad is popular with alpine skiers and cross-country skiers, while in summer hikers, mountain bikers and climbing fans get their money's worth in the Valais mountains.Incidentally, the hike from Leukerbad in Valais over the steep Gemmi Pass to Kandersteg in the Bernese Oberland is one of the classic Alpine passes, which were already used in the Middle Ages for the transport of goods and people.

Location description: Leukerbad, a charming village in the Swiss Alps, in the district of Leuk in the heart of the canton of Valais in Switzerland. At an altitude of 1,411 m, the thermal spa resort of Leukerbad is surrounded by massive mountain ranges and well protected in a side valley at the foot of the Gemmi Pass, and even if the Matterhorn is not the centre of attention here, the massive Gemmiwand, which almost seems to be guarding Leukerbad, is no less impressive. The steep rock faces, which reach up into the sky, form an exciting backdrop that has nothing to hide from the Dolomites. The view is fascinating and makes the heart of every mountain enthusiast beat faster; the centre is quite small and uncluttered and, compared to Zermatt, wonderfully unagitated and modest. Instead of luxury boutiques, après-ski bars and high-end restaurants, you will find more practical and everyday shopping opportunities here, and all the important facilities such as shops, restaurants and the bus stop are within easy walking distance of our holiday flat, making your stay even more enjoyable.
