Going on holiday in Hemsedal is action packed whatever time of year you visit. During the ski season which typically starts at the end of October, Hemsedal caters for all levels of skier and boarder but especially intermediates. Off the slopes, the apres-ski is lively with some great bars and restaurants serving up local cuisine including elk and reindeer.

During the summer, the pistes give way to some scenic hiking and mountain biking trails. Other summer activities include fishing, rafting and venturing out of the village to see the incredible Fjords.
