The peak summer months are from from July 1 to Labor Day weekend and peak winter season from the third week of December to the third week of February. During winter, people from all over southern California come to ski at Big Bears 2 mountain resorts - Big Bear Mountain and Snow Summit - both sister ski resorts with Mammoth Lakes.
